Adobe No Longer Adapting Flash For Mobile Browsers

Adobe have announced that they will no longer be developing Flash Player for mobile browsers but instead will be focusing on apps with Adobe AIR and PC browsers.

Adobes future focus is guaranteed to be HTML5 focused as they states that HTML5 is now the best solution for creating and deploying content in the browser across mobile platforms. They reiterate this by saying that they are super excited about the next generations of HTML5 and Flash.

The Flash Player has been in danger ever since Steve Jobs declared it dead and Apple refused to support the platform on their iPhones. This decision will mean a huge step forward for HTML5 development, as more developers and designers move away from building sites with Flash elements.
